Business leaders, entrepreneurs, regulators, politicians, academics, writers, scientists, entertainers, economists and others shaping our world today speak with prominent writer and the founder of The Asian Banker, Emmanuel Daniel, in one-on-one conversations, on-stage dialogues and roundtables.

The interviews are designed to provide an understanding of the thinking behind the ideas of decision makers and influencers on a wide range of current trends affecting all of us.

The interviews are mostly recorded in Singapore or Beijing, where Emmanuel is based, and also in other cities around the world that he visits in his extensive travels.

The name of the site, The Banking Conversation, originates from the site’s original linkages with The Asian Banker, and Emmanuel’s own reputation as the founder of this well known financial research company. The site has since expanded very successfully, both in terms of the people interviewed and the range of viewers who follow this site.

Each video interview in this site is done within 30 minutes. But the videos are broken into 3-4 parts of a maximum of 10 minutes each to facilitate ease of loading online. Visitors can also choose to download the transcripts, which are published in their full length, or the full voice file that is downloadable in MP3 format from this site.

Besides being made available on this site, The Banking Conversation videos are currently distributed through Reuters Insider to about 50,000 business viewers worldwide, as well as through corporate subscriptions. It is also available on YouTube, Taobao (China) and on The Asian Banker’s website.
